SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA

Afrique Telecom is in a position to provide Ku band links over the entire sub-Sahara Africa, thanks to the new Eutelsat W3A satellite.

Launched on 16 March 2004, W3A now covers the entire sub-Saharan African region, starting from a highly strategic position (7° East), which positions this satellites at exactly the crossroads between Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Designed to replace the W3 satellite, the W3A satellites also offers superior conditions of service, including VSAT networks. In fact, one of the W3A bands can be used to offer consolidated service in the Ku band.
